Texting and Driving

This is a podcast that talks about how a bus Driver was missing people on his stops because of what else, TEXTING! Not only is this dangerous to do, but people need to go places on the bus and to miss something important because the driver wants to text is just not right. This is done by WUSA 9 a News Channel in Washington. Please be Patient as it may take a minute to load.

Texting vs Talking vs Calling Survey

These are charts of recent surveys I have done at a local High School on people's favorite way to communicate. I just simply asked them, "How do you like to talk to people? Talking, Texting, or Calling?" and I recorded their answer and sex. As you can tell from the graph, people would rather talk face to face than texting and only about 5% of the people I asked would rather call but only 20% would rather text. So this made me wonder. Why do teens text 24/7 when most would rather Talk face to face? Another survey done by MobileBurn Forums shows the overwhelming difference of texters, so I ask those people who text all the time. Why?

Texting needs to stop. This is one teen who is incredibly sick of texting all day long. You may see this as a pure rant, but I do not care. Texting needs to stop, it is distracting people from work they need to do, having a normal conversation is being replaced, and doing important stuff by just calling is not good anymore. People break up, start relationships, and even plan things through texting! A study done by Scientists (detailed in an article entitled "Why tlk whn u cn txt?") talks about how people today would rather communicate electronically than face to face or even voice to voice. Most people would argue that IM and texting, "Saves time" but really, for all we are losing, saving 5 seconds isnt worth it. Also, doing important things through text is not right. Like what this forum says, you know, how can you have a special person if you never hear their voice. I wish there was some way to stop this, but unfortunatly, there is none. Please readers, just make the call.

Texting and Calling

Texting. This activity is enjoyed by millions of people around the world and has no stop in the foreseeable future. What do I think of texting? I think we should just make the phone call! I understand texting has its advantages but it also has many disadvantages. My Blog shall be about texting vs. talking and I will give the pros and cons of both. I will also give you my input as well as other views on this topic then let you decide which is better. My overall feeling on this subject is: WHY DON'T PEOPLE JUST CALL!!!!!!! Also in this blog I will tell about how Texting isn't going to stop in the future because of the invincible colaberation of Phone Companies and teenagers. I am going to use sources from other blogs to how other people are agreing with my opinion. My topic is an already hot debate throughout the world. That is all I can say about what my blog is going to be so read and enjoy.
